Societal Analysis

Synopsis

Evolution of Capitalism from Commercial to Crony Capitalism to Oligarchy to Social Democracy

Ideology
"Social sanction to dominate women.
Starting with 50% of the population, this world view sanctifies exploitation.
It quickly gives license for the rich and powerful to oppress and exploit all Human labour and natural resources with no restrictions or control,
Nation is seen as a monolithic Entity; a commodity to be owned.
An abstract ultra-nationalism is established with gestures and symbols.
Amenities are for upper class and rich.
Grandiose monuments built to showcase national prestige."
"Liberation of women is inseparable from getting social and economic justice for every single caste-class and category of oppressed and exploited people.
Women's liberation is therefore people's struggle.
Multiple instruments used to oppress and exploit can be resisted only when everyone has an equal opportunity to participate in the political-economy of society.
This ideology alone, based on love and concern for all citizens, will destroy patriarchy.
It will protect society from destruction through over-exploitation of nature and Human labour."
"60% of the wealth is held by 5% of the population.
In the past, Crony capitalists used to give bribes and commissions to politicians.
Now, the Elite call the shots and appoint Rulers of their choice.
We call this Oligarchy.
Empty rhetoric, catchy slogans, grand announcements and eventification distract people’s attention from economic issues.
Fiction, mythology and superstitions are used.
The most clever distraction is a pretence of “Rule of Law”.
This is very different from "Rule by Law".
Democracy is destroyed through majoritarianism and cunningly crafted priorities that serve this Elite."
"This is the next stage in the evolution of capitalism, after Crony Capitalism and Oligarchy.
It is based on care and concern for every single person — rich, middle class and poor.
It gradually and peacefully achieves equity and opportunity for everyone in society.
It is based on a multi-party political system.
It is inclusive, with tolerance for all cultures and caste-class interests.
It brings social harmony in a country because there is Rule by Law
Law, rules and regulations apply equally to every single individual, without fear or favour."
"Patriarchal Rulers capture the legislatures, executive, judiciary and financing instruments as autocratic institutions.
This allows them to govern without checks. Dissent and criticism are not tolerated. State power is used to stop critical thinking, intellectualism, and even simple questioning. Divisive identity politics promotes enmity. Freedom of expression and free speech is criminalised.
Media is captured.
Opposition parties are labelled anti-national.
Electoral loss is not accepted.
Oligarchy attempts to establish One Party Rule."
"Inclusive Political Institutions protect the Idea behind a decentralised economy.
A broad coalition of caste-class interests represented by like-minded parties will make sure that everyone's interests are safeguarded.
No one caste-class dominates.
This co-existence of everyone's interests is called political Pluralism.
It prevents the "Iron law of Oligarchy" whereby one patriarchal Ruler is replaced by another.
In spite of this, Rulers engage with Opposition parties.
Rulers listen to the opinions of civil society, media, and even fierce critics.
It is a total departure from the "Strong Leader" concept."
"Centralised economies based on theories given by pseudo economists, on behalf of rich and powerful capitalists, determine economic policy.
They claim that this is the only way to increase efficiency, productivity, and economic growth.
They say that taxing the wealth created by the rich will be used to meet basic needs of the population.
But in reality, the top 10% of the population (rich capitalists) contributed only 4% of taxes; the bottom 50% (ordinary people) paid 64%."
"Diversified approaches, based on experiential learning and innate knowledge of people.
This results in decentralised policies for different regional and takes into account cultural choices of different caste-class groups.
Local enterprises will be supported by the State.
Skill and management training will be given to groups of people who together undertake larger ventures.
Large scale industries will be encouraged in sectors where small and medium cannot cope.
These will not be beholden to Rulers.
But they will not be allowed to senselessly exploit human labour and natural resources."
"They pass laws, frame rules, decide on tax structures, and even judgements favour centralised capitalist enterprises.
These determine who has access to capital and technology.
Without institutional support, small and medium enterprises, which provide 60% of employment in towns and cities, are destroyed.
Autocratic political institutions could develop tightly controlled Inclusive Economic institutions for the sake of rapid economic growth
Farmers are hit the worst when monopoly capital enters the countryside.
First with distress sale of their crops, then their lands, and finally forced migration."
"Rulers understand that the real function of an economy is to create employment for all.
In addition to income, employment gives citizens pride, dignity and freedom.
Public works, services, subsidies and welfare are not charity.
They are temporary measures to fulfil basic Human entitlements that the State is bound to provide with public resources.
They provide opportunities for the disadvantaged to enter into mainstream economic activity.
Economic institutions like licensing & regulatory bodies, banks and state financing institutions, etc. assist and promote this inclusive agenda."
"Monopolies swallow small enterprises, suppress worker participation, destroy competition, set prices, and earn super profits.
Lack of skill training makes educated youth unemployable.
Indiscriminate use of technology leads to severe unemployment.
Over exploitation of Human labour and natural resources leads to temporary and unsustainable economic growth."
"A healthy balance of small, large, and local initiatives ensure the country's and population's economic growth.
Everyone has a choice to innovate and enterprise if they wish.
Large industries manufacture only what cannot be produced by local ventures.
These give employment under fair and controlled conditions.
The organic bond and sentimental relationship that the farmer has with her land is respected when framing agricultural policy.
Good farm policies immediately benefit 64% of rural workforce."
