Bagepalli town, where our main Campus is situated, is 93 kms north of Bangalore on the Bangalore-Hyderabad National Highway No: 7.
Regular buses from the Chickballapur platform of the Bangalore City Bus Station (opposite City Railway Station) ply throughout the day, starting at 6 a.m. (Fare: ₹ 150) and take about 2.5 hours to reach us.
Taxis charge ₹ 2,000 for a one-way trip from Bangalore to Bagepalli, and about ₹ 3,000 for a day long round trip.
On leaving Bangalore, you will travel on a 6 lane highway. 30 kms out of Bangalore (approximately half an hour after leaving the city), you will pass the Bengaluru International Airport to your right. After that it is a 1 hour 15 minutes drive on a 4 lane highway.
The turn-off to Bagepalli is 3 kms before you cross the Karnataka State border to enter Andhra Pradesh. Please do not cross the underpass to Hyderabad. If you do miss the right turn to Bagepalli, take a U-Turn at the Toll Plaza and come back!
If you are coming by air, it is a 1 hour 15 minutes drive from the Bengaluru International Airport by a Pre-Paid Taxi (Official Rate = ₹ 2,500).
Foreign Visitors
Due to the heavy rush of international friends and colleagues, we request you to please arrange your visit well in advance. Local hospitality at Bagepalli will be on us. However, you will have to bear your own travel expenses. We will not be able to assist you in obtaining a Visa to India - please travel on a Tourist Visa!
